Today we had the pleasure of welcoming back one of our Old Roffensians, Professor Murray Biggs (OR 1943-47). Murray gave a talk to the Sixth Form English Literature pupils focused on the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, before a quick lunch with members of the Upper Sixth and Ben Charles. Murray is an Associate Professor at Yale University and we were so grateful to him for visiting, whilst he is over in the UK from his home in the USA. Murray had a quick tour of the Main School buildings and shared stories of his life at King’s and his subsequent career. It was an enlightening start to week 5 of the academic year!
